The New TV Future

Wonder what will happen February 17, 2009 when analog TV gets turned off?

Don't worry, you will still be able to get free TV, probably with your existing antenna. You just have to get a converter box. (Like a cable box, but hooked to your existing antenna for free TV.) And the Government will provide you with 2-$40 coupons to buy these new "boxes" you need. Don't worry, you won't have to pay for TV if you don't want to. You won't have to get cable, or satellite dish.

Many people are confused about what it means when "Free" analog TV stops being broadcast in 2009. Here we have links to the government websites that explain what will happen, and what you need to do. There is also a link to the free coupons you can get for a new converter box. You can also put your address in, and see what stations you should be able to receive for free in the future.
